Proceed to the cool and charming city of Nuwara Eliya. Known as Little England during colonial rule, Nuwara Eliya is a popular travel destination. Take a boat ride along Lake Gregory or leisurely stroll through Victoria Park, buy flowers from a street vendor and watch the sun set over the mountains from a fantastic vantage while you sip on a cup of exquisite Sri Lankan tea. Head to the misty mountainscape of Ella. Scale the heady heights of Ella Rock, enjoy the gorgeous sight of the Nine Arch Bridge, watch the roaring waters of Diyaluma Falls and hike through winding tea plantations. (You can also opt to take the train from Kandy to Ella, taking in world renowned scenic beauty.) On completing your tour of this magical mountain city, return to Nuwara Eliya.
