Trincomalee

Trincomalee is a lovely tiny town on Sri Lanka’s east coast. Trincomalee is one of the nicest beaches in Sri Lanka, with gorgeous white sand. The east coast is coming up and is much quieter than the south, so it’s a great time to go. Wildlife, hilltops, and geological formations surround Trincomalee. Trincomalee is known for its natural deep water harbor, Nilaveli Beach, Uppuveli Beach, Pigeon Island, off-shore whale watching and dolphin watching, Kanniyai Hot Springs, Colonial Fort Fredrick, Somawathiya Cheitiya Sanctuary, Serwawila historical Buddhist shrine, Velgam Wehera, and Hindu temple of Konneswaram Kovil, which is situated on a stunning cliff on top of Swami Rock facing the Indian.
